Austen Gillman

Austen is an Occupational Therapist who graduated from the Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand and has recently joined The Do Network team. He supports clients in the Brisbane South and Logan areas.

Austen enjoys working with a diverse range of clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents and adults. He especially likes helping his clients to overcome barriers and develop the skills to participate in all aspects of daily life, such as work, self-care and leisure.

Austen believes that therapy should be client-focused, that is, the client and their family’s wants, goals and needs take centre stage. Focusing on client-centred goals makes the work they do together especially meaningful and ultimately results in better occupational performance and participation for the client in their everyday life.
