Cara achieved a Bachelor of Health Science from Latrobe University, Victoria, majoring in rehabilitation counselling. This sparked her passion for mental health treatment. She went on to study occupational therapy at the University of Canberra, completing in 2016.

Cara’s experience and interests lie in the mental health and substance addiction field. She has worked across a variety of settings delivering a trauma-informed, person centred and strength-based approach. She enjoys empowering individuals to discover their unique strengths and qualities to enhance occupational engagement, well-being and quality of life.

She is a strong advocate for holistic health and well-being, disease prevention, and early treatment practices. She understands the connection between the body-mind and considers the various factors influencing participation in daily activities and overall health.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors and learning about holistic health practices to achieve optimal health.

Cara is based in North Brisbane and services clients on the inner north side of the city.
