Jenna Asley
Occupational Therapist
Jenna is a graduate occupational therapist with special interests in mental health, community rehabilitation, intellectual disability and autism. During her undergraduate degree, she spent time in a mental health community centre focusing on sensory interventions for participants with a range of mental health conditions.
Jenna has a strong understanding of how sensory interventions can impact and influence our day to day function. She has also spent time in a long-term rehabilitation setting working with individuals deconditioned from neurological conditions and falls, focusing on occupation (such as life skills) to regain function and return to the community.
Jenna regards trauma-informed care and culturally safe practice as key concepts. She approaches her clients in a non-judgemental way, focusing on what is meaningful and important to them to build skills to engage fully in their occupations.
Jenna currently services clients in the Logan, Scenic Rim and Boonah areas.
